Are you prepared to rock it with us at Rock the Block this Saturday? We hope so! Here’s our race day checklist for those last-minute reminders.

The night before you rock
  • Pick up your packet
  • Complete an easy day workout if you want to
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Eat a high carb dinner
  • Set out your running clothes
  • Review race instructions and route
  • Get a good night’s sleep
The event morning while you rock
  • Check the weather and pack accordingly
  • Eat a light snack and drink some water
  • Arrive early
  • Pick up your packet if you haven’t already
  • Use the restroom
  • Warm up and stretch
  • Head on over to the start line and get ready to rock this race!
  • Enjoy your run or walk
After you've rocked
  • Celebrate that you finished the race
  • Grab a snack and a water
  • Meet your family and friends
  • Cool down and stretch
  • Take a quick stroll through Main Street
Extra things to consider
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses or a hat
  • Safety pins
  • Hair ties
  • Dry socks, flip flops or extra shoes
  • Rain gear
  • Phone, watch and music
  • First aid kit, pain reliever, anti-chafing gel
